Spring/Summer/Fall 2015 in Budapest

After coming back to Europe from Kuala Lumpur in March, I moved to Budapest where I had plenty of time to paint. So I did. Only two of the paintings above were painted in Kuala Lumpur, in the park below Petronas towers. Most of these paintings are named after the animals in them in protest against the popular opinion that we are much more significant than other species on this planet. I exhibited these paintings in a restaurant in Budapest. I priced them from 60 euros for small ones to 250 for the biggest. I sold one. I now discounted them to 50 euros from the smallest to 190 for the biggest ones. I ship them anywhere on request.

This is my latest exhibition in Jelen restaurant in Budapest. The Gravity (the cow) is the biggest painting I´ve ever did. I didn´t really stick to the rule of single focal point in a painting. I don´t like the composition rules. I find them silly. I prefer common sense and the eye for what´s pretty. I will experiment with the rules of composition in the future, just for the sake of experimenting.

Spring, Budapest 2016

I spent a wonderful winter in Arambol, Goa, India. I painted with acrylics and was happy to find a art shop in the neighbouring beach village where I found some small canvases. I was inspired by an amazing Arambol sunset. I was selling the paintings on a lovely beach market. They sold well.
